Working With Wood

I have been especially lucky, that over the last few years I had a very close relationship to working with wood. This incredible material lends itself to large-scale projects as well as small. From supplying us with building materials to keeping us warm.

While I am writing this blog post online, my work, sketches and personal reflections I still journal in notebooks – and what better way than to use your own homemade pen!? Using basic whittling techniques I have fashioned a pen out of oak after drilling it using an 8mm pillar drill. I am happy to say it definitely beats a throw away pen any day.
